Payroll and Finance

The Princeton School Board, after receiving informative information from administration, determines how monies are spent and set/approves the preliminary budget in May or June for the following school year. Examples of general education expenses are operating expenses, salaries, benefits and supplies. When there is not enough funding within the budget, the School Board may ask for voter approval for an operating referendum levy. Currently, the Princeton School District has an operating levy of $325 per pupil.
